Ross Road Housing Apartment Complex Restoration

A Durham based affordable housing company, Reinvestment Partners, had recently purchased a naturally occurring affordable housing apartment complex in East Durham that was in a very dilapidated state and received funds from the city to fix it up.

In order to effectively utilize the city’s funds, Reinvestment Partners decided to work with Haven to help prepare the permit set for renovating the 44 units. Haven’s Unique Design-Build approach offered clarity throughout the process of designing, budgeting, permitting, and building the units.

The end result is 44 rental units spread across five structures. Now, more people in Durham will have a chance to rent nice, affordable units close to the city.
