Mangum ADU

The Mangum ADU in Durham, NC was completed in 2022. This extremely energy-efficient project features insulated concrete form (ICF) and structurally insulated panel (SIP) construction. The industrial-style design includes a generous floor plan for a large living area with a glass overhead door, a kitchenette, one bedroom, a full bathroom, and a dedicated laundry room with lofted storage above. The home was designed to accommodate a multi-generational household near the heart of downtown Durham.
